Nigerian Spinners and Dyers Limited “NSD” is the pioneer and largest Worsted Spinning Mill in Nigeria. Worsted Spinning processes Long Staple (exclusively greater than 75mm in mean/median length) Natural, Synthetic and Artificial Fibres (Wool, Acrylic, Nylon, Viscose etc.) to produce specialized Knitting and Embroidery Yarns. This is different from Short Staple (or cotton) spinning that can only process fibres up to 50mm in length.

Since 2007, NSD can process both Fiber tops and Synthetic Filament tow giving at the greatest Flexibility and range in the sub-saharan Region
